the delifrance story!

wow our new class blog layout is gorgeous! thanks to chrissie=D

anyway this is an update on our mini 1/5 of the class outing to watch harry potter. the aftermath of harry potter was pretty hilarious. photo intensive!

so it started with me eexiu yohanes and weichong going for dinner while waiting for darren and hanxu to come. cos they had some odac meeting that lasted forever. if you buy 4 harry potter tickets you get 1 free sticker book and 1 free pack of stickers. so what you see here is eexiu yohanes and weichong sticking stickers onto the sticker book. it was pretty funny cos we looked like a bunch of idiots sticking stickers at this age.


before the movie! haha what weichong is holding is our precious sticker book=p the cinema lady refused to give us anymore sticker books even when yohanes went to demand more from her.


i think the movie was superb! ha! who cares what everyone else says! its fantastic all the same. viktor krum!!! well it was quite sad when cedric diggory died.

the guys are hungry after the movie so we go to delifrance...and its like 9+pm at night already. so leonard darren and yohanes go buy food...and start creating a commotion cos they discover...95CENTS CHOCOLATE CROISSANTS! it was a red hot special.


"95cents only lets take more." eventually we bought one each.


"oh my goodness! baguette is also a red hot special! 95cents only!!!!" yohanes starts waving his tongs around to get the attention of the delifrance person and demands his 95cent baguette. and the delifrance person tells him he's gonna have to wait 15mins for them to bake a fresh baguette for him.


we find out that the 95cent deal is ONLY if you takeaway. buttt...yohanes starts acting like his father owns delifrance!! and argues with the manager until the manager allows us to not takeaway but still get the 95cent red hot deal! good stuff.

and darren gets thirsty! so he whips out his drinking tube and starts sucking his water out from his bag! haha and posing for the photo too.

well yohanes's baguette came after 15minutes. then the guys were complaining that there was no kaya to go with the baguette. so leonard and darren went over to yakun to buy kaya-_- and came back with kaya toast instead. at 10pm. and they wanted to wait until bread talk closes and dumps its bread so they could stop the breadtalk ppl from dumping their bread and get free bread.

classouting

heyy all :D

hope everyones enjoyin hols n not running back to sch everyday for various reasons. anyway to elaborate on my tag. i haf meeting at ritz on tues at 2.. so i dunno whether we can make it for the late afternoon aspect.. urm.. actualyl.. i think i can offer my house.. but pls gimme a date. so sorry bout late notice ya... i just found out today(as mentioned).

so anyway... my house has. a tv w vcd/dvd/video player. so ya. i haf some titles. but u all mgt wanto bring ur own too.. urm.. it has mahjong. it has cards(duh) it also has quite abit of space if ur looking out for space to sit in a circle n open a current affairs society meeting haha ;D

but it has NO swimming pool or other forms of large stuff.. so yupp. if ur looking out for a dip then er.. haha. bathtub? n chomp chomps outside... so we go early n hopefully find a place. n den dinners settled.. ya.. so anyway.. u all decide n tell me k?

new layout!

This is what Chrissie does when she's burnt out from mugging and sick of seeing the same (default) layout on blogs. Gee I really should be studying Japanese! I could take it down or edit if you guys want to change stuff.

I feel like I'm talking to myself on this blog-- Where is everybody? Spam here a bit more leh.

Oh yes. Aforementioned 22nd Nov class outing is tentatively at Xinyi's house I believe. Forgot to mention. Yah yah enjoy post-PW! I hope S paper results were good (:

class outing(s)!

okay here are the "minutes" of the meeting around 4/14 of the class had on friday after PW..

1) 22nd November, late afternoon
2) 27/28 December -- XMas/New Year party?

Suggested venues:
1) Sentosa!
for playing frisbee, volleyball, soccer, blahblah.
2) Anyone kind enough to lend houses? Especially those who stay in private property -- condos (function rooms?), terrace houses, etc etc. as long as there's space to stuff a good number of us in.

(NB: i offer my house! but 1. my condo apartment is very small so you probably can't spend much time there and 2. i live opposite Chinese Garden MRT so i believe location is going to be a trouble for most of you. anyway, yah, i'm offering my place =D)

Ideas for outing:
- potluck
- swimming (if we manage to get a condo)
- mahjong!
- games (general)
- watching VCDs
- "act posh" day (a.k.a. save money, go out and have expensive dinner and basically act high-cruss)
- board games cafe. Hongyue knows where. =)

and then there's the previously-mentioned HP movie outing which i can't go for because i have Japanese listening on that day pffbt. okay! have fun rejoicing the end of PW and exams everyone. =p

don't spend all your hols mugging okay it's bad for health. chill with a CLASS OUTING! please respond! additions to the above lists are HIGHLY welcome. :D
