i hope the photos turn out ok. anyway we had loads of fun at the bbq. watching tv and whatnot. the guys gave up on their cheapskate game of pool and decided to play it properly after a while instead of trying desperately to stop the balls from going into the holes so that we wouldn't have to pay 2 dollars per game=X the marshmallows were real yummy...and arjun was trying to show off his marshmallow roasting expertise, telling us how the marshmallow should be crispy on the outside and liquidy on the inside. or something like that=p

hope you guys had fun staying over!

hoho just to tell everyone that batman is the best superhero ever! no honestly, i have tapes of every single batman movie. and i've watched them an infinite number of times=) i happen to like the last few cheesy installments of batman, including the mr freeze and poison ivy one they just showed again on tv a few days ago. i don't really think much of christian bale though, he never came across as a potential batman candidate...and the whole dark brooding moody theme of the new movie seems a little =S if you ask me. but hey it got 4 stars from the newspapers. then again, the newspaper reviews are usually off...the movies they give good reviews about aren't that good.

anyone wants to come watch the Aviva Open with me?? in case you didn't know its a badminton tournament. and my favourite shuttler boonsak ponsana is playing! that would be the guy who kicked susilo out of olympics last year=D some people think his style's a little flashy but who cares. i think i still have the tape of the match between him and susilo stashed somewhere. the glitch is that the qualifying and prelim rounds are when CTs start...boohoo. but we could still catch the q-finals, semis and finals which are after CTs=) i am assuming he'll get through to the q-finals, but that's not a given. its free for qualifying rounds, 4 bucks for q-finals and 8bucks for semis and finals.

The key

Ever wondered which part of the library resembled a maximum high security prison? Well this thought just dawned upon me as i sat on the top floor of Woodlands Regional Library sneaking a peek at the sixth grim security guard march past me.

"Boom..Boom!" His voice thundered across the vast expanse of open area. " Stop there kiddo! You're in direct violation of security code #12839. You reserve the right to remain silent. Everything you say can and will be used against you in the court of Law."
In simple terms, he barked "Stop there kid! No running about in the library," with a face you would often equate with a nightmare. The poor kid stared straight up at that blacker-than Bao Qing Tian face. (No pun intended, I do respect him..and his face) Time stood still. Then a shrill cry tore through the library. The rest is history.

As you can probably tell by now, I'm currently jailed in the children's section of the library. A bright and cheerful place where birds sing and children dance. Sadly, reality hurts. The library has a total of 14 librarians. Interestingly, 8 patrol the children's section with some sort of vigour, chiding innocent cherubs who so much as jump, walk at an increasingly accelerated mode or shout for joy.

The future of our nation lies in the hands of these children. Yet sometimes i wonder what Singapore's future will be like with such a current restricted and sheltered environment. Children will always be children, give them a chance to be what they really are.
Give them the key out of that high security prison..please

save your money;

don't watch Batman!

I got cheated of $8 to watch the sneaks today and the show was horrible! Too much talking, the action was nowhere exciting, the plot's crafting was quite bad (poor development, forced insertion of cannot-make-it romance theme blahblah) and basically it was horrifyingly, unimaginably boring. I mean, you'd think that a movie would at least be worth something if there was so much media hype about it, yet half my section fell asleep (several times, I add) in the cinema despite all the booming loud racket that was coming out from the speakers.

So, if you're planning to watch it, I suggest you put that money to better use, and make the $72 my section lost to Lido today worth it, okay? :P

hallo its me again. in response to ms hiong's question archery is really fun=D and you get to look intimidating haha. and its not that hard after you get used to drawing the bow...unless of course you have some ultra *(#@@*!@ high poundage bow that you can't even pull an inch. you start getting high after you hit the bullseye=) anyway rj archery whipped the competition at interschs and we got a clean sweep of the gold! not me of course. but doesn't matter.

hey anybody know how to draw the 1/f (x) graph in the math homework? cos i have no clue why the answers they give have one x=4. you mean the point b3 evolves into a line somehow? =S hope everyone's doing fine with the mugging...its 3 days to our little class outing! haha i can go climb the spiderweb thing at pasir ris park how exciting.

i cannot resist not blogging about this! lol my pw group and our narrow escape! we almost got bashed by a bunch of guys who looked quite gangsterish.

well the story goes like this. after discussing pw in school me julio hanxu and minli went down to macs for lunch. then there were these 3 guys sitting behind us at macs. later this one guy came to join them with a funky hairstyle that was shaved into squares into this hi-tech looking pattern. so basically it was pretty eye catching. THEN julio goes and opens his mouth and says "eh did he shave it or paint it?!" and clearly it was loud enough for them to hear since all of them turned around and started glaring at us. and mr julio still couldn't keep his eyes off the guy's head and just kept staring so they were staring back. pretty tense. so after we left and went up to popular to buy stuff we came back down to macs cos hanxu's bag was there and we were gonna talk to darren. and those people were still there. the moment we walked into macs all 4 of them turned and stared. like omg so scary haha. we were predicting whether they were gonna bash us up or something. so we ran off home hoping that they wouldn't follow us=X honestly it was pretty freakin scary. i don't plan on getting beaten to pulp by some guys with odd hairstyles anytime soon.

i should get back to mugging protein synthesis. sayonara.

Confessions of an ex-RI boy

To even the odds for ACS, here's the story of an ex-RI boy..enjoy

"People say we RI guys are spoilt brats. Fine, so we do have our own swimming pool and track. We are snobs; we are also rude to our teachers and we get away with it. We get everything we want. But you know what? We don’t get the girls.I just don’t understand those girl creatures.

What’s there not to like about us RI guys? We’re suave, charming, especially in our all-white uniform which I am so darn proud of. I mean, come on, even PAP adopted the colour combination of our school uniform for theirs. White shirt matched with white trousers. I couldn’t, for the life of me, think of a better colour combination than that. And the uniform…it’s so..so soul-stirring. So redolent of our wonderful PAP government. The power, the status, the respect that it commands-doesn’t that create an adrenaline rush in the fragile hearts of you girls?!

We guys are the future of Singapore. We are destined to lead the country. Our fates are decided for us in secondary school. The pristine white uniform says it all. Uniform aside, our horn-rimed glasses and acne-stricken faces belie immense intellectual maturity, cerebral depth and intensity. Isn’t that sexy to you girls?!

Besides being suave and charming, we are so brilliant. So brilliant that admittedly, sometimes, our mental and emotional balance gets upset. We have IQ, but some people contest that we have no EQ and are socially inept. Now, I wish to contend that very very fallacious assumption.

Me? socially inept?! Have you seen my Friendster account?! I have 37 Friends on my list. Now, don’t laugh off that seemingly modest number. Cos guess what- I have 10,059 2nd degree friends! And, to top it off, I have 43,976 3rd degree friends! Now, I’ve wiped that smirk off your face, haven’t I? and there is nothing funny about counting my 12 cousins, 15 online gaming partners (I have never met before), 3 relief teachers and 7 random people I added amongst the 37 friends I have on Friendster....."

Confessions of an ex-ACS boy

Anglo Chinese School( ACS)..The school of sporting excellence, The hub of poetic influence, The emblem of male testosterone.

Anglo Chinese School..look at the name itself..speaking of its rich chinese heritage and traditions. A slight pity though: A majority of our school population do not speak chinese the proper way, but it is just a minor setback, no worries=D
Ohh just between you and me> How do you say hi in chinese?

I am trying to be modest here but I simply cannot hold this back anymore. The blinding light of truth has to be uncovered one fine day. Let this be the day then..Truth is that I really think that I am the perfect role model of an ACS boy-Handsome and proud of my school, poetic charmer and such a brave gentleman.

On the first, I wear my school uniform with outmost pride. I mean..How can I not be proud of my tucked out pearly white shirt and butt revealing three quarter pants?

On the second, ACS shines with the spirit of dominance and power. Look at me, I move with the sleekness of a tiger seeking its prey. Which girl could ever resist the grace and charm of mine? The true art of ACSians is the way we trap our prey, with flowery words of passion and poetic lines of "Till death do us part", " Girl you steal my heart".

On the third, what happens when an ACS guy meets an RI guy? We hug them! Get the joke? Haha haha aint I full of humour? On a more serious note, if we ever do meet them on a one way street, we will straighten our backs and hold our heads high and shove our way past those Retarded Idiots! We gain much satisfaction from this display of heroic courage and bravery.
I'll share a small secret with you..( Promise not to laugh first?) Okok..I'm actually scared of the dark lah. Sigh promise not to spread this around ok? Its our little secret!! =D
